Work-hardening superalloys

Inconel and similar grades harden under a rubbing tooth. The blade needs a positive, sharp geometry and a feed that keeps every tooth cutting instead of rubbing.

Surface finish has to meet the drawing

Machining allowances are tight. Triple chip carbide teeth leave a clean, flat cut face so you keep your stock allowance and hit tolerance.

The same blade must cut the same way every time. German manufacturing consistency and in-house welding to fixed specs keep your process stable.

What blade cuts titanium without galling?

Sharp positive-rake teeth, low band speed, high feed pressure, and generous coolant. X-CELL M42 handles most titanium sections; heavy or hard sections move to BLACK-LINE TC carbide. Never let the blade rub.

When does carbide pay off over bi-metal?

When the material dulls bi-metal in a few cuts, or when finish and dimensional consistency are on the drawing. Carbide costs more per blade and less per cut in hard alloys, and the finish is in a different class.

Can you support a fixed cutting process?

Yes. We weld every blade to the same documented spec so replacements behave identically, and we keep your spec on file for reorders. Consistency is the point of buying German stock and welding it in-house.
