The Arntz SILVER-LINE N is the blade for material that eats other blades: case-hardened and surface hardened workpieces. A special negative rake angle lets carbide tips shear through hard skins without chipping, and multi-chip geometry keeps cutting performance high underneath.

Frequently Asked Questions

M42 teeth run about 67 HRC and a 60 HRC case leaves almost no hardness advantage. The tooth cannot bite, so it rubs, overheats, and loses its temper within a few cuts. Carbide with negative rake is the correct tool; read our full case-hardened cutting guide on the Cutting Advice page.
Low band speed, firm steady feed so the teeth stay biting under the skin, rigid clamping, and flood coolant. Feathering the feed is the worst thing you can do; rubbing kills carbide too, just slower.
