Bandsaw Blades for Heavy Equipment and Machinery Repair

Repair work never sends the same job twice: worn pins to cut off, AR plate to section, hydraulic tube, shafting, and whatever the machine dragged in with it. We spec blades for shops that need one dependable setup for unpredictable work, and our licensed millwrights service the saws themselves when they need it.

What Slows These Shops Down

You never know what is on the table

Mild steel one hour, induction-hardened shaft the next. A tough general purpose M51 covers the mix; we will tell you honestly when a job needs carbide instead.

Abrasive, dirty, welded stock

Mill scale, hardfacing, and old weld metal chew up delicate blades. Robust tooth geometry and the right feed keep the blade alive through ugly material.

A worn saw eats blades

A saw with worn guides eats blades no matter what you buy. Our millwrights repair and tune bandsaw machines on-site across Canada.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I cut a hardened pin or shaft on my bandsaw?

Not with bi-metal; the teeth wipe off. A carbide blade like BLACK-LINE TC will do it on a rigid saw with slow speed and firm feed. For one-off pins it is sometimes cheaper to cut beside the hardened zone. Call us and we will talk it through before you spend money.

Why does my saw eat blades even with new blades?

Usually the machine, not the blade: worn guides, low blade tension, or slipped tracking. Our licensed millwrights inspect and repair bandsaw machines across Canada, and a one-hour tune-up often triples blade life.

Do you stock blades for older or obscure saws?

We weld to length in-house, so machine age does not matter. Measure your old blade or give us the machine model and we will match the loop length, width, and pitch.
