Frequently Asked Questions

The SPRINT-PRO is designed for steel manufacturing and precision metal working applications. Its classic tooth geometry with variable tooth design handles a wide range of material sizes — solid rounds, squares, rectangular stock, special alloys, and heavy-walled round tubing. The M51 HSS tooth tips provide improved wear resistance for long service life.
The SPRINT-PRO (Article 531) features classic tooth geometry with a variable tooth design, making it a versatile general-purpose blade. It uses M51 HSS tooth tips for improved wear resistance and comes in 6 width options from 27mm to 80mm — offering more size flexibility than many specialized blades. R-Tech coating is also available for widths 41mm and above.
Variable tooth design means the teeth are spaced at varying intervals rather than evenly. This reduces vibration and noise during cutting, produces smoother surface finishes, and allows the blade to handle a wider range of material cross-sections without changing blades. All SPRINT-PRO TPI options use variable tooth pitch.
The SPRINT-PRO is available in six widths: 27×0.90mm (1"×.035"), 34×1.10mm (1¼"×.042"), 41×1.30mm (1½"×.050"), 54×1.60mm (2"×.063"), 67×1.60mm (2⅝"×.063"), and 80×1.60mm (3"×.063"). Six TPI options are available: 0.75/1.25, 1.4/2, 2/3, 3/4, 4/6, and 5/8. Use finer pitches for smaller cross-sections and coarser pitches for larger material.
